Dr. Stephanie Rodriguez
Board Treasurer
Dr. Stephanie Rodriguez is an accomplished higher education leader with extensive experience in academic administration, student support, and workforce education. She has led programs in Science, Engineering, Math, Counseling, and Career & Technical Education, overseeing faculty, budgets, and grants, while fostering innovative, student-centered learning and community engagement.

Vanessa Salas
Voting Member
Vanessa Salas is an equity-centered higher education leader with deep experience advancing culturally responsive student success across community colleges and nonprofits. She is skilled in directing special programs and identity-based centers, supervising multidisciplinary teams, managing categorical and grant-funded initiatives, and designing identity-affirming co-curricular programming. She is dedicated to strengthening cross-campus partnerships and support systems for disproportionately impacted students—including undocumented, system-impacted, LGBTQIA+, foster youth, DSPS, adult learners, AB 540, and DACA students. Vanessa brings strong expertise in research design, equity metrics, data-informed decision-making, and program evaluation, aligned with RSCCD’s mission of diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and justice.


Griselda Torres
Voting Member
Dedicated and compassionate leader with over a decade of experience supporting children and families through early intervention, special education collaboration, and community-based services. Currently serving as Client Services Manager at Harbor Regional Center, overseeing multidisciplinary teams and strengthening partnerships between families, schools, and community agencies. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she brings a strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive, trauma-informed care, and is excited to contribute her leadership, program development, and family advocacy expertise to strengthen Dreamcatcher CRC’s mission and community impact.
Leticia Amaya
Voting Member
Leticia is a seasoned educator whose work centers around building relationships with children, families, and educators. She brings a holistic approach to teaching and learning that honors children’s identities, families, languages, and cultural knowledge as central to educational practice. With experience teaching in dual immersion classrooms, Leticia has partnered closely with families and colleagues to create inclusive, affirming learning environments for multilingual learners.

In addition to classroom teaching, Leticia collaborates with teachers, schools, and organizations to support early childhood learning through play-based, developmentally appropriate practices. Her coaching experience centers around building relationships, reflective practice, and curriculum implementation that is responsive to the lived experiences of children. Leticia believes that lasting educational change is built through collective care, shared leadership, and a commitment to equity, joy, and belonging in classrooms.
